Today in the morning we went to kindergarten to visit.. filling out some forms, letting the kids see the other kids.. getting used to the place etc.
On the way home Emunah started crying a bit.. said that she doesn’t want to go there on Monday.. that she doesn’t like it. This little girl has been talking about going to kindergarten for the last half a year now, and now that we are almost there she is nervous and doesn’t know how to deal with it.
So from now on we are not talking so much about it.. just letting her rest over the weekend. Though it’s not so easy, because
Efraim is of course excited about getting back there, catching up with his friends from last year.. so he is kind of jumping up and down of excitement.
I’m so sorry for Emunah, that she is having a hard time getting used to the thought that she’s not going to be home all the time, that she is going to be in a new place. But as soon as she is getting used to it she will love it! And that’s why I’m happy for her. We have seen so many positive changes in Efraim this last year.. and I’m sure that will happen to Emunah too. She’s going to be fine. It will take her a few days, or maybe even a couple of weeks. But I’m sure she will love beeing there. And if she would have a hard time from the beginning – her brother is there taking care of her. He’s not late to give her a hug. He is really caring for his sisters. He is gonna’ be there telling her that everything is gonna’ be alright.

I was supposed to have my first class for this year – tonight. But I had firewall problems so I couldn’t enter the chat.. so annoying and I get so distracted by this so I can’t even study. Even more annoying is that I can’t even reach the chat history. First class of the year usually includes a lot of important information. I hope we can solve the problem before next thursday when next chat is.
Problem started three hours ago and I didn’t start reading yet.. gnn..
I’ll just finish this post and then get started studying.. promise!

Tomorrow is visiting in kindergarten day.. all kids with their parents and the teachers will be there.. It’s more or less. Hi, welcome, please fill theese forms out and say hello to the teacher.. go home. See ya on Monday! But still exciting – especially for Emunah.

It is way too hot outside(and inside)
way too full schedule this week
way too much to study
I’m way too tired (since hubby kept me awake until way too late the two last nights. And whatever you guess is the reason – you are wrong)
So.. since you probably have nothing to do.. go ahead learn some Spanish. It’s free! I command you!! Or if you don’t want to learn spanish.. learn knitting instead. And since there are only two kinds of people in this world one of theese choices is perfect for you.
See.. brain dead..
This post wasn’t even intended to be meningful.
Se ya’

History B – here I come! Online classroom opened and I’m trying to get some kind of overview of what I’ll have to do within the next few weeks.
Now I’m looking forward to the girls’ birthdays, all the holidays in October, and cooler weather. I’m fed up with the summer! People keep saying that I should like the long hot summer because I’ve chosen to live here.. well not perfectly true.. more that if you’ve chosen to live here – by some reason you’re not allowed to think that summer is too hot.. and that spring and fall is better.
I like March-May and October-November the best. Best temperature is between 68-77 degrees (f) (20-25 c) And that’s when YOU should come to visit in our beautiful country!

The new computer is here – and I did some of the installations.. will have to continue with that. Everything is not working yet. Fighting is over – hubby and I don’t have to share computers any longer. Yeay!
Tomorrow evening I’ll start studying.. Only in the evening – not during the day. Tomorrow morning I’m taking the kids to the mall.. we have to go to the post office – and to do some shopping.
It’s late already here.. almost midnight. I should better go to shower and go to sleep.

Sabbath is a good invention!
——
Tomorron we are getting our new computer. Yeay! On Monday I start studying again. The timing is perfect!
Soo.. we’re slowly slowly going back to routine. Another week the kids (only the big ones.. baby stays home) are going back to kindergarten – five hours a day – six days a week. That will make it easier for me to study! This will be the first time for Emunah to go to kindergarten. She’ll be 3 years old in another month and until now she has been home with me all her life. So it’s gonna’ be a big change for her. It will probably take her a while to get used to it. Good that her brother is there to.. that will make it easier for her.
Euhm.. kids are tired.. and cranky.. I’ll make a try and play some piano for them… soon time to eat and go to sleep.

Today is Friday.. Friday is cleaning and cooking day in this house.
Usually cleaning day is more or less every other day in this house. but since all kids are home now during the summer I found it impossible. They make the mess faster than I make the order. They make the house dirty faster than I can clean. Well in another week we’ll be back in routine that’s good. I’m not feeling good when the house is dirty or not in order.. I want it nice and clean. I feel awful if I by some reason have to let guests into the house when it’s not clean and nicelooking. Though I put the level a bit lower because of a few reasons.
- First of all it’s almost impossible to keep the house clean and tidy with three little ones.. It would be possible. But hey.. there are other things to do in this world than to clean! Yesterday I changed the tableclothes in the living room.. and put a fruit bowl on the table.. the most safe but still nice thing I could think of to put in a place where the baby can reach. Within half an hour she managed to sneek out of her room without me seeing it – emptied the fruitbowl on the table and started eating fruits. She probably thought I made that party for her! =) Sooo cute – and she was soo angry when I stopped her from ruining all the fruits.
- I have to be careful with my hands… the eczema is getting 7 times worse from water, soap etc. Though I just bought both cotton gloves and a huge pack of vinyl gloves.. moahaha
- Also by economical reasons I can’t be the obsessive cleaner I am inside.. It is harder to keep the house clean and tidy if you’re in lack of storage solutions.. yep.. still some things in boxes after we moved =(
- To be really really honest.. I don’t know if I want it to be perfect. I don’t want my house to look like an empty hotel room or one of these perfect rooms of IKEA that they have to show the furniture. I want my home to feel like a home – not like a doll house. Or yes I do! no I don’t. Do! Don’t… I don’t know.. I guess I’m a Monica wannabe..
But once the kids get older.. and once we have more money… you never know=)
What kind of clening character are you? What habits do you have? Are you an obsessive “Monica”(Friends) or are you fine with once a week.. once a month.. or maybe only when badly needed and for holidays? Do you like cleaning or is it something depressing and boring?
This weekend we’re gonna eat chicken.. chicken and.. chicken(They had a sale yesterday. Yummy!) and fruit cake or pie.
Btw. here comes the pic. of the baby after finding the fruit bowl. I think the peel was not sweet enough for her taste.. =)

How can one live without having a secret language? I’m feeling so exposed if I have to talk private stuff in a language that people around me understand. Even if it’s not that private, just regular talk – I’m uncomfortable with it. Or maybe I’m just spoiled. Maybe other people don’t talk about stuff when people are around? Or maybe they don’t care?
I speak Swedish with my family – quite safe here in Israel, even though it happened a few times that I met people who understand Swedish.. and it went all weird and embarrassing and you start thinking What the heck did I talk about the last few minutes. I hope I didn’t say anything bad.
When we don’t want the kids to hear what we say.. when we want to plan things without their opinion – or just be able to talk without their comments about this and that – we speak English. Works fine! -this far. Though Efraim is curious and started asking a lot and is slowly slowly starting to learn a bit. He knows a lot more English than I did when I was ten and started studying English in school. That’s one of the reasons we now started studying Spanish.. so we can switch to Spanish when the kids reach the level in English where they will actually understand what we’re saying.
When we go to Sweden (which happened only once this far) we speak Hhebrew.. quite safe too. There are only a few situations where we really don’t have any language that works.. and that’s when the whole family is around.. with brothers and parents who understand both Hebrew and Swedish. And that’s why we’ve got to add some more languages to our list!!
